About “Forever free”
In Forever Free, a veteran of The Forever War, William Mandella, lives on a snow-covered planet set aside for his kind, supporting his family by ice-fishing and teaching physics. Earth's denizens have evolved into a group consciousness and taken control of his home, keeping its human inhabitants alive for their gene pool.
