About “Triple cross”

Clint Adams is passing through Wider's Canyon when he sees a medicine man, the "Professor," drawing a crowd with a so-called miracle cure. Clint likes the colorful showman, but the Professor is also fixing cards at poker, and the people want justice. The Gunsmith knows the Professor has done wrong but can't stand by and let a friend get killed, even though the Professor is a fool, and in Wider's Canyon fools die hard, along with their friends.
