About “The Lost Hero”

Jason wakes up on a school bus holding hands with a girl named Piper, who claims to be his girlfriend. He has no memory of how he ended up at the Wilderness School, a boarding school for troubled students. Piper is worried about her missing father and has disturbing dreams about his danger. During a field trip, a storm and strange creatures attack, and she, Jason, and their friend Leo are taken to a place called Camp Half-Blood. Leo is skilled with tools and finds the camp much better than the Wilderness School, but he is troubled by a curse and a missing camper. He also learns that he and his friends are related to a god. The story is from a 2010 novel by Rick Riordan.
