I finally got around to reading The Hunger Games series, and I can honestly see why so many people recommend it. On the surface, it’s an exciting survival story, but there’s much more to it than that. Suzanne Collins does a great job showing how power, fear, and propaganda can shape people’s lives. Katniss isn’t a perfect hero, which makes her feel real and easy to root for. The action keeps the pages turning, but the emotional moments are what stayed with me after I finished. The ending isn’t all sunshine, but it feels believable. Whether you’re into dystopian novels or just enjoy a well-told story, this series is definitely worth reading at least once.
