King Snodd IV of the Kingdom of Hereford recognizes the financial potential of magic and believes that whoever controls magic controls almost everything. He appoints Blix, an unpleasant figure from Industrial Magic, as the Official Court Sorcerer. Blix is part of one of only two remaining Houses of Enchantment in the world. With Blix's help, the king moves closer to his goals of power and wealth. Only one person remains to stop him.
