The Snow Spider is the first book in a trilogy by Jenny Nimmo, set in contemporary Wales and inspired by Welsh mythology, particularly the Mabinogion. It follows Gwyn Griffiths, a boy from a family with a magical heritage, as he begins to discover and understand the powers linked to his ancestry. The novel won the Tir na n-Og Award and the Smarties Prize, and has been reissued in various editions, including omnibus versions.
