About “Vendetta”

The Earp Vendetta Ride was a federal manhunt led by Deputy U.S. Marshal Wyatt Earp in 1882, targeting outlaw "Cowboys" suspected of attacking his brothers Virgil and Morgan Earp. The assaults occurred in retaliation for the deaths of three Cowboys during the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral on October 26, 1881, and several suspects had been charged but released due to legal technicalities or strong alibis. Wyatt pursued the suspects with a federal warrant from March 20 to April 15, searching southeast Cochise County, Arizona Territory.
