About “Piratica”

Artemesia is the daughter of a pirate queen who escapes from the Angels Academy for Young Maidens to join her mother's crew. She takes command of a leaky boat, but her memories of her past may be mistaken—her crew is made up of actors, and her mother was a stage actress in a pirate play. Despite this, Artemesia quickly turns her men into a skilled pirate crew. When they encounter the ship Enemy and its captain, Goldie Girl, Artemesia believes her memories are true. She faces a fierce battle to claim her mother's title and the most fabulous treasure in pirate lore. The story is filled with swordplay, trickery, and humor.
