About “Sir Philip's Folly”
The Poor Relation Hotel, known for its elegance and eccentricity, experiences disruption when Sir Philip Somerville brings home his paramour, Mrs. Budge, whose extravagant demands strain the hotel's resources. At the same time, Lady Carruthers disguises her daughter as a schoolgirl and pursues the young Earl of Denby, complicating the efforts of the hotel's residents to manage the situation. The poor relations devise a scheme to remove Mrs. Budge while simultaneously securing a husband for her daughter.
