About “Thomas and His Friends”
Thomas & Friends is a children's media franchise based on the Railway Series books by Wilbert Awdry. It was created by Britt Allcroft in 1984 and is owned by Mattel since 2012. The franchise features Thomas the Tank Engine as its main character, along with a group of anthropomorphic steam locomotives and other vehicles.
