The Reckoners is a young adult superhero series by Brandon Sanderson. It includes four novels: Steelheart (2013), Firefight (2015), Calamity (2016), and Lux (2021). The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where a cosmic event called Calamity grants random people superhuman abilities, making them "Epics" who dominate society. Traditional governments have fallen, and a young man who lost his family to a High Epic joins a group dedicated to killing Epics. The 2015 novel Firefight is part of this series.
