The Roman Mysteries is a series of historical novels for children written by Caroline Lawrence. The first book, The Thieves of Ostia, was published in 2001, and the final book, The Man from Pomegranate Street, was released in 2009. The series sold over a million copies in the UK and was translated into 14 languages. It was followed by a sequel series, mini-mysteries, and other related titles.
