About “Knight Templar”
Knight Templar is a mystery novel by Leslie Charteris, first published in October 1930. It is the fourth book and third full novel featuring Simon Templar, an anti-hero inspired by Robin Hood. The title plays on the historical Knights Templar, a religious order. Later editions of the book were retitled The Avenging Saint, a name first used in a 1931 edition.
