The Saint and the People Importers is a 1971 mystery novel featuring Simon Templar, also known as "The Saint." It was written by Leslie Charteris, who created the character in 1928, but the book was co-authored by Fleming Lee. The story is a novelization of an episode from the 1962–69 TV series The Saint, titled "The People Importers," which originally aired in 1968. The episode was written by Donald James, though it was based on an original outline by Lee that was later discarded. For the novel, Lee returned to the original idea.
