In The Science of Discworld, the wizards of Unseen University accidentally create Earth, or Roundworld, and its universe. They initially ignore its inhabitants, but later notice humanity. Elves also appear, seeking to take over human society. The second book in the Science of Discworld series follows the wizards as they compete with the elves for control of Roundworld. Terry Pratchett, along with Jack Cohen and Ian Stewart, explores the history of the human mind, culture, language, and science. The story examines how history is rewritten and offers a unique perspective on the world. The authors blend fiction with real scientific concepts to present an original view of reality.
