About “The Magician”
Nicholas, Sophie, Josh, and Scatty escape to Paris, the home of Nicholas Flamel. However, their arrival is tense, as Perenell remains imprisoned in Alcatraz and Paris is filled with enemies. Nicollo Machiavelli, an immortal art collector working for Dee, is after them. Each day without the Book of Abraham the Mage causes Nicholas and Perenell to age rapidly, weakening their magic. Nicholas Flamel begins to understand the Prophecy more clearly. Sophie must learn Fire Magic, the second elemental magic, and the only one who can teach her is the Comte de Saint-Germain. Josh and Sophie are the world's last hope, but their relationship is tested.
