The story blends high adventure in the James Bond style and introduces a cyborg character. This character is described as all man and very human, but enhanced by secret medical advances in bionics, giving him extraordinary physical powers. The novel is written by an aviation and science expert and best-selling author, known for previous works such as Marooned and The Cape.
