About “Three Sisters”

Three Slovakian sisters, Livia, Magda, and Cibi, survive years of imprisonment in Auschwitz, clinging together through starvation, overwork, and the brutal whims of guards. As the Allies close in, they escape during the death march from Auschwitz and hide in the woods before being rescued. They then travel to Israel to build a new home, but must face the ghosts of their past and secrets kept from each other to find true peace, in a story inspired by true events overlapping with those of Lale, Gita, and Cilka.
