About “Mirror Dance”

Mark Vorkosigan, a clone created to replace and kill his original brother Miles, hijacks a ship from the Dendarii Mercenaries and travels to Jackson's Whole to destroy the clone creches where he was raised. The mission fails, and Miles must rescue him. Miles Naismith Vorkosigan, despite his wealth, status, and success, faces a difficult life. He was nearly killed as a child when his mother was caught in an assassination. He survived with severe physical disabilities and is often mistaken for a mutant. His clone, Mark, was raised to replace him but later became conflicted. After a previous attempt on Miles' life was foiled, Mark now struggles with his purpose and may still try to kill his brother. The novel explores their complex relationship and the consequences of Mark's existence.
