Jade is a member of a therapy group led by Dr. Marlowe, where she listens to the personal stories of other group members, Misty and Star, as they share their past traumas. Unlike them, Jade struggles to speak about her own experiences, which involve being caught in a bitter courtroom conflict and enduring a traumatic ordeal after fleeing from a dangerous situation.
