About “The Last Wish”
The Last Wish is a short story collection by Polish fantasy writer Andrzej Sapkowski, part of The Witcher series. Published by SuperNowa in 1993, it is considered the first entry in the series, even though Sword of Destiny, published in 1992, came first. The collection includes seven short stories, each separated by a frame story. In the frame story, Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter, rests in a temple after being injured in battle.
