About “Tom Swift and his Triphibian Atomicar”
Tom Swift Jr. invents the Triphibian Atomicar, an atomic-powered vehicle capable of traveling on land, water, and through the air, which leads him and his engineers on a mission to Kabulistan to assist the new republic in developing its natural resources. They face repeated dangers from nomadic tribesmen and a hidden adversary working to conceal a rediscovered ruby mine. Tom and his friend Bud Barclay are trapped underground, where Tom constructs a makeshift rocket to summon help.
