Infinity's Shore is the second novel in David Brin's Uplift series, part of a new trilogy. It follows the fugitive human settlers of Jijo, who face the threat of genocide as starships fill the skies. A scientist tries to rally others for a cause he does not fully believe in, while four young people, inspired by Earthling books, find themselves drawn into a dangerous mystery. The Streaker, a starship with a dolphin crew, arrives on Jijo seeking refuge but discovers a long-hidden secret that could change the fate of the planet. The novel is part of a science fiction saga known for its imaginative storytelling. It was published in 1996.
