About “Blood Promise”

Rose faces an impossible choice after a deadly Strigoi attack at St. Vladimir’s Academy, where many Moroi students, teachers, and guardians were killed. Among the victims taken by the Strigoi is Dimitri, a close friend and guardian. He would rather die than become one of the Strigoi, and before his capture, he made Rose promise to keep her word. Now, Rose must leave her best friend, Lissa, the person she has vowed to protect, in order to fulfill her promise to Dimitri. With everything on the line, she must decide whether to destroy the person she loves most. The story explores her struggle to keep her promise while protecting those she cares about.
