About “Masters of Rome”
In Britannia in AD 45, Vespasian's brother Sabinus is captured by druids, who plan to sacrifice two Roman legates on midsummer's day to gods older than the Celts. Vespasian must save his brother while completing conquest of the southwest, as Claudius's three freedmen back rival mistresses amid Empress Messalina's bloody downfall in Rome.
