About “Parasite”
The Virgin New Adventures were a series of novels published by Virgin Publishing that continued the story of the Doctor after the television show Doctor Who went on hiatus in 1989. These novels expanded the Doctor's adventures during a period when the show was not on television. One of the novels in the series was written by Jim Mortimore in 1994.
