Oathbreakers is the second book in the Vows and Honor Trilogy. When Idra, leader of the Sunhawks, fails to return from a journey to her homeland of Rethwellan, Tarma and Kethry, warrior and mage, set out to find her. Bound by a Goddess-sworn oath, they are committed to fighting evil. Rethwellan is under dark influence. Idra had left to find a magical sword that could determine which of her two brothers would become king. With the princess missing, her younger brother was labeled an outlaw and her older brother seized the throne. Tarma and Kethry suspect something is wrong and believe Idra and her people are in danger. They seek help from a Herald of Valdemar to uncover the truth and break the dark spell.
