The book series "Where's Waldo?" was created by English illustrator Martin Handford and consists of five books published between 1987 and 2002. It is a series of children's puzzle books featuring detailed illustrations of crowded scenes in which readers are tasked with locating Waldo, a character dressed in a red-and-white striped shirt, red-and-white checked pants, and a red hat with a white polka dot pattern. The series does not include narrative elements and focuses on visual exploration and attention to detail. Martin Handford, a British illustrator from London, developed the series, which gained international recognition in the mid-1980s.
