Kennedy, the only woman on staff for the Windy City Warriors baseball team, wakes up in Las Vegas legally married to shortstop Isaiah Rhodes after a run-in threatens her professional reputation and job prospects. They agree to stay married for one baseball season to protect her job, with Isaiah using the arrangement to prove he's husband material while Kennedy resists falling for their game.
