About “Julia's last hope”
After the Calder Springs timber mill closes, most residents lose their jobs and many families decide to leave the small mountain town. John Harrigan has lost his job at the mill, but he and his wife Julia choose to stay with their twin daughters. Eastern-educated Julia searches for a way to bring business and people back to Calder Springs, a task she feels God is leading her to accomplish, uncertain whether her faith will carry her through.
