About “Roses for Mama”

Seventeen-year-old Angela is thrust into raising her three younger siblings after their parents die, instead of the new life the family had expected out west. With her older brother's help and trust in God, she tries to raise the children as her mother would have wanted, while wondering whether any man will want a woman who comes with three children, and whether she can balance her own dreams with her promises to her mama.
