About “4th of July”

A young girl is killed during a failed arrest, leading Lt. Lindsay Boxer to face a charge of police brutality. As she awaits trial, she retreats to the quiet town of Half Moon Bay, where a series of brutal murders have left the community in fear. Working with her friends in the Women's Murder Club, Lindsay uncovers a connection between the current killings and an unsolved murder from her past. As the trial progresses, Lindsay also fights to uncover the truth behind the murders. The story builds to a climax during the town's 4th of July celebration.
