While exploring the jungle near the academy, the twins find the remains of a TIE fighter that crashed years ago during the battle against the first Death Star. Jaina, a mechanical expert, believes she can repair the ship if they can obtain the necessary parts from the academy. Meanwhile, the original pilot of the TIE fighter, an Imperial trooper, has been surviving in the jungle since his ship was destroyed. He has been waiting for years to return to duty, and now he sees his chance.
