About “Alice in April”

Alice, a seventh grader, faces the challenge of turning thirteen, which makes her the Woman of the House in her family. She feels overlooked for the responsibilities she takes on, including caring for her father and older brother. To gain recognition, she launches a campaign to be more appreciated for her role at home. The story follows her efforts to be seen and valued for her contributions.
