Adikavi Pampa (902–975) was a Kannada-language Jain poet who served as a court poet for Vemulavada Chalukya king Arikesari II, a feudatory of the Rashtrakuta Emperor Krishna III. He is best known for his epics Vikramārjuna Vijaya or Pampa Bharata, and the "Ādi purāṇa," both composed in the champu style. His works reflected his philosophical beliefs and set the standard for future champu compositions in Kannada.
