Alfred Leopold Isidor Kubin (10 April 1877 – 20 August 1959) was an Austrian printmaker, illustrator, and occasional writer. He is recognized as a significant figure in the Symbolism and Expressionism movements. Kubin worked primarily as an illustrator and created graphic works that reflected the stylistic tendencies of his time. He also engaged in writing, though this was an occasional aspect of his artistic output. His career spanned the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
