About “The Other Side”
The Other Side is a 1909 novel by Austrian writer Alfred Kubin. It follows a man who is invited to live in a kingdom built in Central Asia from old European buildings. Kubin was primarily known as a draughtsman, and The Other Side was his only novel. It was inspired by his illustrations for The Golem by Gustav Meyrink.
