1 standalone book

Aratus (c. 315/310-240 BC) was a Greek didactic poet. His major surviving work is the hexameter poem Phenomena, the first half of which sets to verse a lost work of the same name by Eudoxus of Cnidus and describes the constellations and other celestial phenomena; the second half, the Diosemeia, concerns weather lore. His poem was very popular in the Greek and Roman world.
