Chen Yuanjing was a scholar of the Yuan dynasty who wrote the Shilin Guangji. He was born at the end of the Southern Song dynasty in Chong'an, Jianzhou. He probably lived from the late 13th century to the mid-14th century. His work is the primary known aspect of his life and career.
