Brian O'Nolan (1911-1966), an Irish novelist and satirist born in Strabane, County Tyrone, wrote under the pen name Flann O'Brien, known for At Swim-Two-Birds and The Third Policeman, and as Myles na gCopaleen for satirical Irish Times columns including Cruiskeen Lawn. He also wrote An Beal Bocht and used many other pseudonyms.
