Walter Braden "Jack" Finney (October 2, 1911 – November 14, 1995) was an American author known for his science fiction and thriller works. He wrote novels and short stories, with The Body Snatchers and Time and Again among his most recognized titles. The Body Snatchers was adapted into the 1956 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers and later remakes. Finney's work often explored themes of suspense and speculative fiction. He was active in the literary field during the 20th century.
