Jacques de Longuyon was a French author, active in the early 14th century, who wrote the Vows of the Peacock, a chanson de geste composed for Thibaut de Bar, bishop of Liège, about 1310. It became one of the most popular romances of the 14th century and introduced the concept of the Nine Worthies.
