Lanling Xiaoxiaosheng is the pseudonym of the unknown author of the Chinese novel Jin Ping Mei, written during the Ming dynasty. The pseudonym means "the laughing scholar of Lanling," a place in Shandong. The name Xu Wei (1520-1593) has been linked to the novel's creation.
