Mary Frances Kennedy Fisher was an American food writer known for blending food literature, travel, and memoir in her work. She authored 27 books, including a translation of The Physiology of Taste by Brillat-Savarin, and her first book, Serve it Forth, was published in 1937. Fisher was also a founder of the Napa Valley Wine Library. Two volumes of her journals and correspondence were published shortly before her death in 1992.
