Al-Mufaḍḍal ibn Muḥammad aḍ-Ḍabbī was an Arabic philologist of the Kufan school who lived in the eighth century. A contemporary of the poetry collectors Hammad ar-Rawiya and Khalaf al-Ahmar, he compiled the Mufaḍḍaliyāt, an anthology of early and pre-Islamic Arabic verse assembled some fifty to sixty years before Abu Tammam's Hamasah.
