Szymon Budny, also known as Symon Budny (c. 1530–1593), was a Polish-Belarusian humanist, educator, Hebraist, Bible translator, Protestant reformer, philosopher, and historian active in the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. One of the leaders of the Polish Brethren, he was among the first to promote the development of Belarusian culture in the Belarusian language.
