About “Catechism of Simon Budny”
The Catechism is a religious text consisting of short questions and answers on Christian topics. It was published on 10 June 1562 in the Nyasvizh printing house by Symon Budny, a philosopher and figure of the Reformation movement, and Lawrence (Wawrzyniec) Krzyszkowski, a Calvinist preacher. The Catechism is the first book printed within the territory of modern Belarus in the Old Belarusian language.
