Ta-Nehisi Coates is an American writer, journalist, and educator, and a national correspondent for The Atlantic. His book Between The World And Me won the National Book Award in 2015. He is a recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship, and since 2016 he has written Marvel's The Black Panther comic book. He lives in New York with his wife and son.
