Xuanling Fang

Fang Xuanling (578–648), the courtesy name of Fang Qiao, was a Chinese statesman and writer of the Tang dynasty who served as a chancellor under Emperor Taizong. He was the lead editor of the historical record Book of Jin and is regarded as one of the most celebrated chancellors of the Tang dynasty. He and his colleague Du Ruhui were often described as role models for chancellors in imperial China.
