Yochai Benkler (born 1964) is an Israeli-American author and the Berkman Professor of Entrepreneurial Legal Studies at Harvard Law School, where he is also a faculty co-director of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society. A technology-law expert and political economist, he is best known for coining the term "commons-based peer production" and for his widely cited 2006 book The Wealth of Networks.
